New way of eating Nian Gao

'Nian Gao' is 'Chinese type of rice cake' You can see it selling in any groceries shop during Chinese New Year.

Reason eating Nian Gao during Chinese New Year is believe that it is a good sign of getting success each year .. And it become Chinese culture .

There are many ways of eating Nian Gao, some fried with yam and sweet potatoes , some fried with egg.

But I miss the traditional way of eating Nian Gao, which my Grandma and Aunty used to do it during / post cny.

Is 'STEAMED NIAN GAO', coating with fresh grated coconut. Personally I found this is the best and easy way to cook Nian Gao and you can even used it to serve guests during Chinese New Year.

I am sure your guests will LOVE it and they will continue eating non stop without feeling
Oily, Heaty!!
